MTU has affiliates at ten locations worldwide. The information management center is responsible for providing information technology and information systems at all locations. The tasks of IT specialists also include the development of IT solutions based on the users' require-ments.

Apart from the product development segment, their scope of work covers product manufacture and maintenance, IT services and infrastructure. A particular challenge is to keep costs at a competitive level while at the same ensuring maximum system availability.

MTU is looking for IT experts with profound database and programming knowledge and expertise who are familiar with supporting SuSe Linux-based clusters and client-server applications based on MS Windows, Linux and Unix. For the strategic alignment and further development of information technology in all areas of the company, our employees also should have project experience and process know-how and be able to coordinate the work of external consultants and programmers. A good command of the English language as well as good communication and presentation skills are a must
