Code of Conduct

MTU wants to continue to drive technological development, remain a dependable partner, offer its customers superior service and top-notch quality, and stay its healthy course to secure jobs. To this aim, all of MTU's activities are based on principles to be observed by all of its employees at the company's locations around the globe. The Code of Conduct details the basic tenets that provide us with guidance as to the way in which we should act. They express our expectations of fair and respectful dealings with each other, and moreover with the company, colleagues, customers, business partners and the public at large. They reflect the values that make MTU a company that is aware of its responsibilities.

However, even with the best precautions in place, there is no way to entirely prevent wrongful acts or violations of internal and external rules from happening. This is why the post of independent ombudsman has been instituted. The ombudsman will receive and investigate concerns brought forward to him by supervisors and employees, suppliers, customers and business partners, maintaining strict confidentiality as to the source of the information.
